Remembering Speshal Days (dare no 17)

This lovely, laughy, colourful pic was taken while staying at JenJen's, in Funkyrolla. Me and Vin caught giggling like mad in a Mexican restauarant just up the road in Los Boliches. I can't remember what had made us laugh like this - probably seeing one of the guys getting clumped on the head by the crazy Mexican with the tin hat. But whatever it was, it had got us going, all right.


Not long after this holiday, Jen died. And the laughter stopped for a long time.

Jen always used to say "Life's not a rehearsal... As far as we know, we're only here once..." She thought life was for living - and boy did she live it!

I didn't know what was just round the corner then, but losing people makes you see things differently.

For a long time I forgot how to smile, but being sad and letting life pass you by is not the way to remember the ones we love. Living each minute and laughing and loving is.
