The words 'def serendi'p etc are just printed on a transparency and overlaid on the layout. I had an awful job trying to track down the DefLep font but eventually found a free download here:

It's called pyrite, and they have some fantastic TV & Movie fonts, Product fonts and of course, the Band fonts I was looking for. Brilliant site! Worth a visit :-)
