Brrrr!!!

Boy, it's cold! Anyone feel it too?

I'm sitting here in my pj's, warm fluffy slipper sox on my feet and a steaming mug of hot chocolate in my hand. Winter has certainly kicked in round here the last couple of days.

Our central heating's rumbling away, and it's cosy and snug in here - but outside it's bitter, and I'm SO glad I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow... No work for me as I always have Fridays off, but I'm going to be working from home for a couple of days on the Newsletter, and that suits me just fine. Might not even go in on Monday if it hasn't warmed up any by then :-)

Matilda has been poorly, just a rotten cold, but neither her nor Donna has had much sleep in the last few days, and poor Don Don looked exhausted when I popped in tonight. Talk about things going wrong - first the baby not well, then their power went off completely, and now the fridge freezer's packed up. She's off to register the litttle one tomorrow while a man's comes in to sort out the electrics. Chicken soup time I think.

Hayleys coming home from Lanza for a visit and us girls are planning to hit the shops big time - and be the ladies who lunch. Then, when she goes home, Jazz and Erk and the boy arrive, so busy times ahead for me with the family. Vin's so excited. He loves having the guys here, having big family meals round the table, playing cards and games, scoffing nibbles, and just hanging out with them talking, and us being all together.

Not sure how much scrapping's going to get done in the next few weeks, but right now i'm more interested in making the memories than recording them.

Family comes first eh?

Brrrrr!

Sounds like you're in for a lovely few weeks Jakey. And you're so right putting your family first. They will have such fond memories in the years to come.
