Nothing much to report.... though Donna's had me in hystrics with texts from the camping trip. First msg last night:
"Hi mate, sorry no coverage. (this because they had apparently dropped off the face of the earth for several hours - well actually, all day, and on Isabelle's birthday too) Having a nightmare. Traffic jam all the way, and of course the most dreadful weather. God help us in this tent. Me and Jon completely lost our sense of humour, but kids unaware of impending divorce, ha ha. ( erm, not sure she really was ha ha'ing there...) Not having a good time, and Bradley Bear show cancelled due to flooded stage. FFS! Please pray for us..."
2nd text this morning after I had enquired whether they's made it through the night ...:
"Quick head count this morning shows we all survived it! Stopped raining now thank God, but discovered last night i'd left a sleeping bag in the tumbler. It's been emotional. Hitting the beach now regardless. Speak tomo x"
Lol, I was crying.... I could see it all too clearly. Donna. Jon. The three kids... Littlest Brownie Mattie's not even two, bless her! So. A drowned out disaster... but there's my girl and her tribe 'hitting the beach regardless..."
Don't ever let anyone say I didn't instill a Dunkirk spirit in my kids....
And a layout... not made for anything. Just made for me :-)
